While it feels like spring has sprung in some parts of the country, there are some places that are very much still living in winter wonderlands. If you’re lucky enough to be able to get out on the slopes, then you’re likely in need of an aprés-ski cocktail, right? Thanks to our pals over at Ampersand Distilling Co., we’re sharing this delicious Canadian Campfire cocktail that’s simple but still complex and definitely super special.
Made with just 4 ingredients: Ampersand Distilling Co.’s Nocino!, rye, lemon, and bitters, you can be sipping on this sophisticated drink in no time! In case you’re unfamiliar, Nocino! is a special seasonal release and it’s made from walnuts and is gently spiced with cinnamon, lemon peel, and allspice and sweetened with honey from BC’s Cowichan Valley. The result is rich, spicy, sweet, and perfect by itself or mixed in cocktails.
