Even though Herbes de Provence can be found in most grocery store aisles, in our opinion, it tastes better when it’s homemade. It’s so easy to prepare your own mixture and you really can customize it however you like. Some recipes vary but this is the one that we swear by. It tastes amazing on meat, roast potatoes, veg, and even in compound butter. The addition of lavender might sound odd but don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. It adds a gorgeous floral vibe that really sets it apart from every other seasoning blend out there.
