The culinary world is huge in Los Angeles and like many other food capitals in the world, it was hit hard by pandemic restrictions. Restaurant owners and chefs took this hiatus as a way to go back to their roots and rediscover their love for food. It’s safe to say that this time away was exactly what the community needed because now eateries around Los Angeles are thriving.
Over the past few months they’ve seen a series of new restaurant openings designed to reignite a passion for L.A.’s diverse cuisine. Los Angeles Tourism has put together a list of the newest restaurants and concepts to take a bite out of during your next trip to the west coast.

Pizza just got a little bit cooler. The daughter of Jam Master Jay, Tyra Myricks, and the daughter of the late Christopher Wallace (aka The Notorious B.I.G), Tyanna Wallace, opened Juicy Pizza this past summer to give L.A. a taste of New York City-style pizza.
Girl and the Goat
Top Chef alum Chef Stephanie Izard travelled west for sunny skies and fresh California produce for the opening of LA’s Girl and the Goat. The Arts District location shares the global influence and bold flavours of its Chicago flagship, but the culinary team is also crafting new dishes inspired by local flavours.
