Unique outdoor dining experiences seem to be a part of our new normal these days and when they are as cool as this one, we don’t mind braving the cold weather. The luxurious Fairmont Banff Springs hotel recently unveiled its 360° dome dining experience, which offers panoramic views of the Rocky Mountain backdrop. Located on the 132-year old castle’s scenic Upper Garden Terrace, the private dining dome will operate year-round and will feature three separate dining experiences: family-style brunch, après ski and a 5-course dinner.

The delightful après ski menu has been curated by the hotel’s wine bar, Grapes and is $125 per guest. Known for stunning charcuterie boards, guests can expect similar homemade preserves, meat and cheese board options in the 360° dome. These indulgent bites will most certainly be paired with plenty of Canadian wine!
Designed by Fairmont Banff Springs’ Executive Chef Robert Ash, the extravagant brunch menu offers favourites such as avocado toast, eggs benedict and buttermilk pancakes for $125 per guest. The chef has also curated a make-your-own mimosa menu with customizable fruits and juices! Local ingredients and flavours have inspired the gourmet dinner menu, with courses such as Brant Lake Wagyu Beef Carpaccio and Long Bone Bison Shortrib. The 5-course dinner is offered at $200 per person. Guests may also choose from a selection of hand-crafted cocktails from Rundle Bar to sip during any of the cozy dining experiences.
This one-of-a-kind dining experience can accommodate 2-6 people and must be booked 24 hours in advance for brunch and après ski and 48 hours ahead for dinner. Whether you’re looking forward to a summer getaway or a winter ski vacay, the 360° dome will be waiting for you! The only time this intimate culinary experience will be unavailable is in the event of -20°C weather or below. So grab your friends and discover your new favourite way to dine by booking the 360° dome today!
