St. Lucia’s Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa and the neighbouring couples-only Serenity and Coconut Bay recently announced a reintroduction of free travel insurance included with stays of five or more nights. So, the only thing you have to worry about is whether it’s too early for a margarita.

The Insurance Program
The insurance program covers both medical and quarantine costs, as well as travel protection. It’s complimentary for sun-seekers who book travel through October 31 for travel through June 30. The insurance takes care of medical coverage of up to $100,000 USD and includes assistance and costs for a COVID-19 diagnosis and other illnesses (including pre-existing conditions), as well as quarantine expenses and medical evacuation.
Additionally, the program covers travel interruption of up to $2,000 per person and trip delay and lost baggage compensation.
Guests taking shorter trips will have the option to buy the insurance for $39 USD per person within 24 hours upon arrival at either resort.
Last month, both resorts reported that staff vaccination rates had topped 80%. Furthermore, both properties continue to administer free COVID-19 tests onsite for guests prior to departure as part of the Return Home Antigen Testing program.
Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Serenity and Coconut Bay
