Spring is here and that means it’s time for some good, old-fashioned spring cleaning. Now if you’re like me, then you’re just not feeling very motivated to, you know, do it. That is until now because I was lucky enough to get my hands on the brand new Cordless Hard Floor Vacuum Mop from Shark. This VacMop Combo not only vacuums but also acts as a mop so it’s a double-duty product. I got the chance to test it out and spoiler alert — it’s my new fave!

I live in a condo so any product that tucks away nicely is a freaking godsend and that’s exactly the case here. The Shark VacMop is incredibly lightweight and simple and easy to set up and once you start vacuuming and mopping, you truly won’t want to stop. It’s amazing that I don’t even have to touch the pads at all to replace them. There’s a little button that you press and it releases the dirty pad and then you just stick the new one on the bottom and you’re ready to go.
Once you’re set up, all you need is some music playing and you’ve got yourself an adulting dance party and when you’re done, it fits perfectly in a closet and then it’s away and out of sight.

I started out by vacuuming and I have to say it did a great job, cordless or not cordless. I usually find that cordless vacuums somehow don’t have enough power but this one is an exception to that. The head of the Shark VacMop swivels around furniture and into tricky spaces with incredible ease as well. This is one of my favourite features because as someone who lives alone, moving a ton of furniture back and forth gets annoying pretty quick but with this product, I only had to move my kitchen chairs.
My place is mostly hardwood with a tile floor in the kitchen so I was concerned that the cleaning solution for the mop function might leave streaks on the floor but I was very impressed to see that it leaves the surface completely streak-free. Plus the cleaning solution smells so fresh and clean – not chemically or over-fragranced at all which I’m thrilled about.
This is a great product to have on hand if cleaning isn’t your idea of a good time. It makes the job go by super fast but it does the job super effectively. All in all, the Shark VacMop Combo makes cleaning up in your kitchen and home a breeze and I can’t recommend it enough!
