What happens in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vegas and when you’re in the buzzing and vibrant city, there’s a lot you can experience. Including something as extravagant as a 16-course dinner at Lost Spirits’ new restaurant, 20 000 Leagues Under the Sea. Inspired by Jules Verne’s novel of the same name, the restaurant invites visitors for a distinctive immersive experience.
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Restaurant In Vegas
Curated by Chef Taylor Persh, the menu is split into four parts. Each dish is intended to be a memorable journey on its own, highlighting unique ingredients in a creative way. It follows the theme of the underwater realm, with an entire portion of the menu dedicated to seafood. Octopus, scallop and shrimp head are just a few of the items guests can find.
But it is worth noting that the menu can undergo a change at any given point. There’s also some Instaworthy scenes for sure, with macarons in a glass case, a replica Fabergé Egg that contains Osetra gold caviar and quail eggs and so much more. It’s clear that the dinner is meant to have an element of showcasing to it.
This can be seen with the presentation of the octopus with a small sword or serving the pig’s head with a theatrical side to it. The dining room itself is fashioned after a submarine to complete the theme.
This reclusive dinner is priced at $265 per person and includes the beverages as well. The exclusivity of the event is further heightened by the fact that the restaurant only hosts a dozen people once a week every Saturday. Reservations for the dinner can be made online through the website here.
