With one of the most recognized addresses downtown, Park Hyatt Toronto is finally ready to open up after two years of renovations. This luxury hotel will feature 219 reimagined guest rooms and 65 luxury apartment rentals. The fully restored facade will soon sparkle again on Bloor and Avenue Road, and is set to launch September 2021.

Taking inspiration from some of the city’s most coveted landscape views, the famous Studio Munge incorporates this through the art, decor, and restored amenities. Torontonians can rejoice in the revival of this hotel that will bring back the legendary rooftop cocktail lounge, fully transformed, while paying homage to the bar’s historical significance.
“Through the evolution and restoration of Park Hyatt Toronto, exceptional personalized service remains the heart of this remarkable transformation”
Bonnie Strome, General Manager.
New experiences for sure, the property complex will feature 20,000 square feet of prime retail spanning over two floors. It also as over 100 feet of frontage along each of Bloor Street and Avenue Road. This is one the largest heritage restoration projects in Canada.
“This project is a celebration of the best of Canada. It’s reflected in its design palette.”

The spa will remain a highlight gem created to whisk locals and travellers alike to a tranquil escape of the body and mind. The rest of the culinary experiences will be announced in the coming weeks, but I’ve heard it will feature an embellished, sophisticated patio overlooking Yorkville to bring socialites together in a warm, but contemporary vibe. I can’t wait to see what exciting culinary experience this luxury hotel brings to Yorkville.
I have no doubt that the restored Park Hyatt Toronto will combine elegance and glamour filled with Canadian culture, heritage and a nod to literature. We can’t wait to check it out and give you the inside look at all the hidden gems within it when they officially start to host guests.
