One of my personal favourites, The W Hotel, looks like it will be welcoming Toronto guests this Spring/Summer. The highly anticipated W Toronto is just one of their 30+ hotels set to debut in 2022 across the globe. The Marriott International expects more than 30 luxury hotels to roll out this year and we couldn’t be more excited to finally land a W Hotel in the 6ix’s beautiful city skyline.
Taking and making over an iconic building address on infamous Bloor St., this 254-room hotel will fit right into the neighbourhood. The hotel is expected to have 32 spacious suites with a modern, fashionable look and feel. Truly a place to see and be seen in this vibrant social hub.
We can expect the design of The W Toronto, like all their notorious hotels, to be sexy, artistic and contemporary – and in this case, truly celebrating the values of Toronto. The W Hotel design team in collaboration with SidLee made sure to represent the arts, music and theatre culture within all the areas of the hotel.
It will include a one-of-a-kind rooftop bar and restaurant overlooking Bloor, an immaculate 3,300 sq. ft. fitness centre open 24/7 and a tapas bar located in an immersive glass atrium. More details about the complete F&B program soon to come.
Destined to be a hotspot, the W Toronto will surely be worth the wait. It’s unfortunate that the pandemic caused some delays for this property, but the W Hotel brands never disappoint; a place to mingle, let loose and have fun.
