Lifestyle expert/media executive, and our very own Editorial Director, Steven Branco has had a lifelong passion for travel–making this year of quarantine extra-difficult. Just because there are restrictions on travel doesn’t mean he isn’t planning his next adventure though. He has been travelling consistently since he was young, and that isn’t going to change anytime soon.
“I first fell in love with traveling when I would spend summers in the Azores growing up…
with my grandparents as a child. As I got older, I got more and more inspired by the places I visited” Branco said. “Experiencing new places around the world will continue to be an important part of my life, even if it isn’t possible right now.”
Branco has been able to make travel a part of his work life as well. He has worked in a number of cities in Central and South America as well as France, Italy, Spain and the Caribbean. In the United States, Branco spent time in Miami, New York, Las Vegas and Hawaii.
“My favourite U.S. city to live and work is definitely Miami. I try to get back there as often as I can. If you are ever in Miami, I recommend dining at …”
There are still several destinations Branco has on his bucket list. The top being South Africa, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo and India.
“I’d love to spend some time in Calcutta, where my partner was born and raised. I am also dying to visit the Giraffe Manor in Kenya where they eat out of your hands. That would be an unforgettable experience to say the least!”
