The fashion and culinary worlds are set to collide in the form of Gucci Osteria, which is set to open its latest outpost in Tokyo later this year. The restaurant is that of contemporary Italian cuisine and is taking place in collaboration with luxury fashion brand, Gucci and three-Michelin-star chef, Massimo Bottura.
It will be located in Gucci Namiki, the brand’s latest flagship store which will be housed in the Ginza district of Tokyo. The store will be opening on April 29th, with the restaurant expected to be nestled on the top floor.

The menu at Gucci Osteria Tokyo will be carefully constructed and curated by both Chef Bottura and Chef Karime Lòpez, who happens to be the Head Chef at Gucci Osteria in Florence.
The restaurant in Italy was the first global outpost for Gucci Osteria, which also received its first Michelin star in 2020. Beverly Hills, Los Angeles plays host to a Gucci Osteria as well, which was opened in February of last year.
All Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura series of restaurants operate under the Gucci Osteria umbrella. They each have a unique story to tell and offer a truly one-of-a-kind dining experience. The restaurants are a blend of the Maison Gucci vision and Chef Bottura’s philosophy and if we know one thing, the Gucci Osteria Tokyo will be a showstopper.
