Stargazing In Utah
One of the most popular parks for this activity is Bryce Canyon National Park. Not only can visitors just make a adventure out of it on their own, but the park also offers numerous stargazing programmes throughout the year. The best time to see the most of the Milky Way is during the summer, specifically from June onwards, when the stars shine the brightest and are more in number.
It is recommended that the session be booked either during a full moon or within a three-day period. When it comes to essentials to pack for the trip, there are a couple to remember. This includes camping materials (tent, chair, blankets), comfortable clothing, telescopes and/or binoculars. And if you wish, a camera of your choosing as well to capture the incredible shots.
There are also various astronomy applications that can be downloaded on your phone, which provide weather forecasts, location maps and more. In addition to the national park, there are more than 15 other certified locations in Utah that you can visit.
