Dearest reader, with the arrival of the season two of Bridgerton, it would seem as though that’s the prime talk of the town. The show depicts a royal world of its own, but you too can get a glimpse into this with a Royal Tea experience at Banff, Alberta, courtesy of Fairmont Banff Springs.
Royal Tea At Fairmont Banff Springs
The menu features items that would suit even Lady Whistledown herself, including the list of exquisite teas. Priced at $400 per person, guests can indulge in dishes like Victorian scones, Murray River Salt Baked Fingerling Potato, Foie Gras Torchon, Seared A5 Wagyu Beef and many more delicacies.
The desserts’ portion of the menu is just as inviting, with the likes of Raspberry Tartelette, and Tahitian Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta. But what really takes the cake (pun intended), is the Fairmont Banff Springs Opera Cake. What makes it so unique? It’s topped with a 24K gold leaf. As for the filling itself, it is made with dark chocolate ganache.
The selection of teas is carefully curated to go with each of the meals, including a white, jasmine and black tea, while the Opera Cake is paired with coffee instead. In addition to the Royal Tea menu, Fairmont Banff Springs also has a Afternoon Tea offering that’s available to guests. This one’s priced at $82 per person with a variety of both sweet and savoury treats to choose from.
But it’s the tea list that goes on for days, with options for black, oolong, green, and white tea available. Make sure to book your reservations for the Royal Tea experience at Banff 72 hours prior and you can do so online on OpenTable here.
