Swiss cruise line, Emerald Cruises has teamed up with Canadian celebrity chef, Michael Bonacini–known for his role both as a judge on Master Chef Canada and his Oliver & Bonacini restaurant empire–for an exciting new venture. This time, it includes an Italian cruise. The gastronomy-themed sailing cruise adventure will be aboard the Emerald Azzurra. The super yacht, which has a passenger capacity of 100, will be leaving from Rome on April 4 2023. The best part? It’s set to cover the expanse of Southern Italy, including destinations like Amalafi, Sicily, Sorrento and Monopoli.

So what can you expect on this unique sailing opportunity? The highlight is of course, a range of culinary experiences with Chef Bonacini. To give you more of an insight, there will be everything from a private cocktail reception and dinner to market visits in Minori and live pasta making sessions. If you’re an enthusiast with an interest in celebrating Italian cuisine, then this one’s for you.

The Emerald Azzurra specifically also has an innovative infrared sauna. Oh, and did I mention there’s an infinity pool, spa and gym? So you don’t have to worry about missing out on your regular gym sesh even while travelling. It caters to cyclists too, hosting many electronic bikes from Gocycle.
The super yacht is the first ocean-going vessel from the Emerald Cruises line. The second one, Emerald Sakura, is set to be launched in 2023.
