If you’re feeling all the wanderlust, know that you’re not alone. With all the travel restrictions in place (for good reason), as well as lockdowns taking place, it can be hard to satisfy your craving for travel. That is until now because one Toronto restaurant is helping customers “travel” the Mediterranean through their new weekly takeout menu.
Toronto’s Bar REYNA has just launched a brand-spankin’ new weekly feature takeout menu inspired by popular destinations along the Mediterranean. Just because we can’t go on vacay like normal, it doesn’t mean we have to go without delicious food, right?
The first destination is none other than Turkey and trust us — just one peek at the menu will have you salivating and ordering in no time. Designed by owner Nickie Laborie the restaurant’s new chef Stefan Skeene, you won’t want to miss your chance to taste your way through the country.

The menu features Simit Bread to start, Beef Manti with Cilantro Tomato Butter, Saffron Roasted Cornish Hen, and Warm Kunefe for dessert. Plus you can even add on a delicious custom cocktail — The Black Rose created by Nicole Chin-Lee which consists of apple-infused pisco, house-made rose liquor, cardamom bitters and garnished with a dehydrated apple slice.
Interested? We don’t blame you. Orders are to be placed through their website and must be placed before Thursdays at noon for pick up on Friday or Saturday from 4-7 p.m.
